Malta is a group of islands situated in the warm Mediterranean Sea and characterised by strong British cultural links, a rich history and picturesque promenades. Here you can really immerse yourself in the culture of the country, being so small it has a very home-from-home feel and a particularly warm atmosphere. There are plenty of museums to visit, plenty of restaurants overlooking The Med to enjoy and plenty more reasons to come again and again! In St Julian, the most vibrant area of Malta, you can enjoy not only the traditional Maltese culture, but also dine in some excellent Chinese, Malaysian, Italian and even Turkish restaurants. From here, you can go on to one of the resort´s many night clubs and dance off the meal! Alternatively, for a quieter evening, many visitors enjoy a walk along the picture perfect promenade, through one of the medieval walled cities or through some of the towns - appreciating, amongst other things, the breath-taking architecture of the Baroque palaces. Malta certainly has lots of character and is different from perhaps any other holiday destination, you could even consider buying property here – with so much to see (you can even island hop!), you would certainly have many exciting trips ahead of you!
For those of you attracted to the rich culture of Malta, why not also consider a vacation to the Costa Blanca? This too has a fascinating history (something you can learn all about through the region´s many museums, art galleries and guided tours) and also boasts some beautiful natural scenery. With so much to see, this is the ideal place to buy Spanish property. A Costa Blanca villa or apartment is a great investment whether your holiday home is for yourself or you plan to rent. What matters is that you have a place in the sun to escape to whenever you like. Furthermore, you will quickly become accustomed to the area and so whether it is in the dynamic Benidorm or the quieter, Medieval Aldea, your Spanish home will be something you will want to visit again and again!
